Essential Functions:
- Read and interpret project plans, specifications, and industry standards.
- Monitor construction for compliance with project documents.
- Prepare daily inspection reports.
- Measure, calculate, and document quantities of installed materials in accordance with client
- policies and procedures.
- Experience and knowledge in inspecting and monitoring all aspects of heavy civil and structural
- steel construction work to ensure conformance with contract documents and all applicable
- codes and standards.
- Demonstrated ability to detect deficiencies or defects and be able to identify or provide input on
- remedial actions that are required to repair the track.
- Prepare and submit standardized reports of on-site activities and daily progress to the Resident
- Engineer.
- Witness, understand, and verify that all required on-site testing is being performed in
- accordance with applicable standards.
- Prepare Non-Conformance Reports per construction inspection and monitor and log corrective
- action.
- Provide technical assistance as required by Resident Engineer
- Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs.

- techniques.

- ideas effectively and professionally to a technical and non-technical audience.
- Competent self-leadership with attention to detail, multi-tasking, and prioritization of
- responsibilities in a dynamic work environment.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as part of a team to meet
- business objectives.
- Analytical mindset to exercise sound judgement in evaluating situations and making decisions.
- Proficiency with technical writing, office automation, software, spreadsheets, technology, and
- tools.
- Capable critical thinking and problem-solving skills required to apply technical knowledge to
- reach conclusions from inspection and testing results, data collation, load calculations,
- statistical analysis and arriving at the most effective, economical, and logical solution.
- Ability to provide input and feedback to others in the field such as subcontractors and work
- colleagues to consistently complete tasks safely, efficiently, and accurately according to
- specifications.
- Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by Arora’s health, safety
- and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.
- Education/Experience Minimum:
- Minimum of eight years construction management and/or craft supervision experience in
- similar facility construction.
- Preferred experience: airport terminal buildings, airport terminal facilities and systems at a
- medium and/or large air carrier airport.
- Required experience: Airport baggage handling systems.
- OSHA 30-hour training
Preferred Experience:
- Associate degree in engineering or engineering technology.
- Experience with Automated Material Handling Systems.
- Specialized experience in energy protection procedures and energized work
- Experience with industrial maintenance or manufacturing, especially with material conveying
- systems.
