Responsibilities:
Knowledge and Skills:
Education and Experience:
- Designs systems solutions
- Installs, configures, operates, & maintains a variety of network & tele-communications systems equipment
- Builds and maintains architectures mostly packetized environments & focused on directory architecture, network operating systems, storage systems, collaborative environments, convergence,
- LAN/WAN, & security. (i.e. MS Windows OS and NOS, Unix, Linux, directory services, NAS and SAN and Tape and Backup, Proxy, Firewalls, VP, IDS, IPS, etc.). (***)
Knowledge and Skills:
- Customer Service
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of telecommunications field and service provider environments/services useful
- Strong knowledge of networking principles and implementation
Education and Experience:
- BA/BS + 4 Years’ in related field or equivalent experience
- Possess Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or better
- Experience with CISCO Voice and Security or related expertise or equivalent experience,
- ITIL Foundations Certification (within 6 months) with related expertise or equivalent experience
- Experience with ITSM/Remedy
