Grid Systems Consultant

• The Grid Systems Consultant will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to assist clients through every phase of their modernization journey, from strategy development, capability assessment, and business case analysis to requirements definition, RFP development, software selection, and program management. This position will also support system integration and implementation services, including the design, build, testing, and deployment of advanced technology solutions in Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA), Outage Management Systems (OMS), Advanced Distribution Management Systems (ADMS), and Distributed Energy Resource Management Systems (DERMS).
• Key responsibilities also include gathering and analyzing client requirements, supporting the development of project roadmaps, facilitating workshops, preparing technical documentation, and providing operational support post-deployment. 
• Success in this role requires foundational knowledge of grid management technologies, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a client-facing environment. The Grid Systems Consultant plays a vital part in ensuring project quality, upholding best practices, and embracing continuous improvement, ultimately helping utilities realize sustainable, innovative outcomes in their transformation programs.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 8 years of Oracle’s Utilities Network Management System (NMS) OMS experience.
• Experience with electric utility clients implementing and integrating operational systems such as OMS, DMS, ADMS, AMI, Distribution Automation, and Distributed Energy Resources (DER) is preferred.
• Strong ability to influence or lead project execution.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
• Experience with leading-edge applications (s), operations technology, and solutions utilizing various industry standard tools.
• Experience with a variety of project execution methodologies, including but not limited to Waterfall and Agile.
