Major Duties:

  • Provide staff expertise on cyber security.
  • Conduct comprehensive on-site and offsite audits of registered entities in compliance with NERC reliability standards and regional reliability standards, with a special emphasis on the Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) standards.
  • Evaluate and assess compliance of periodic data submittals from registered entities.
  • Conduct investigations into potential violations and make determinations of alleged violations of the standards.
  • Evaluate, approve and track the status of mitigation plans.
  • Develop and update compliance status reports.
  • Assist in the daily administration of the compliance monitoring and enforcement program.
  • Develop compliance reporting forms.
