Senior Linux System Administrator - Top-Secret Security Clearance

The ideal candidate will possess an active Top-Secret Security Clearance and 8+ years of hands-on Linux system administration experience. They should also have strong expertise in managing AWS cloud infrastructure, including VPC, EC2, EBS, S3, IAM, CloudFormation, and CloudWatch.

Qualifications:
  • Active TOP SECRET clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
  • 8+ years of hands-on Linux system administration experience (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu).
  • Proven experience managing cloud infrastructure in AWS (VPC, EC2, EBS, S3, IAM, CloudFormation, CloudWatch).
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, load balancers).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, AWS CodePipeline).
  • Working knowledge of security hardening (STIGs, CIS benchmarks) and RMF controls.
  • Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS/EKS).
  • Experience with AWS GovCloud or classified AWS regions.
  • AWS Certified SysOps Administrator or Solutions Architect
  • Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE)
  • Security+, CISSP, or equivalent DoD 8570 certification.
  • Exposure to monitoring tools (Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios).
